I'm Julia Naftulin, a recent graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Currently, I live and work in New York City as a digital journalist, specifically as an assistant editor at Time Inc.'s Health.com.

Before starting at Health.com, I've held internships at national magazine brands like Business Insider, Bicycling, and The Knot, where I was a 2015 American Society of Magazine Editors intern. I've reported on everything from weddings to fitness to technology while always focusing on the best ways to present and share stories in a digital format.

I love writing service pieces on health, fitness, and careers as well as short, quippy news pieces. I've written about the health care feats of transgender millennials, a Harry Potter-themed wedding, and how to find the perfect sports bra. I've also had the pleasure of interviewing Bill Cunningham's assistant and Say Yes to the Dress host Randy Fenoli.
